Viral photos of a Benue bride who stopped her wedding to quickly write her exam at the Benue state University

Dooshima Kusugh, a Benue State University student, yesterday paused her wedding to quickly write her exam all dressed up in her wedding dress. Dooshima had apparently fixed her wedding date and "unfortunately", the date for the examination for one of her courses coincided with her wedding day. In order not to fail the course and carry it over, Dooshima stormed her examination hall all dressed up in her wedding dress on Saturday, October 7th. After her examination, her wedding ceremony continued. See more photos below

Leon gave a brilliant performance during the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Zambia yesterday. He broke down in tears after the match and also took to his twitter page to share his excitement. 

Scottish man sentenced to jail for accidentally touching a man in a bar in Dubai

A 27 year old Scots man from Stirling, Jamie Harron is facing a three-year jail sentence in Dubai for reportedly putting his hand on a man in a bar by accident. Harron said he was trying to avoid spilling his drink in Dubai's crowded Rock Bottom Bar when the incident happened.  After Harron and his friend sat at a table that the man who had been touched seemed aggravated and reported the incident to the police. Police arrived at the scene "20 to 30" minutes later and arrested Mr Harron, according to his representatives. The charges he faces in connection with the incident are said to be twofold - drinking alcohol and public indecency. He was locked up for five days  in Al Barsha prison, before being released on bail, after having his passport confiscated. He has now been prevented from leaving the city in order to attend court. Decapidated head and missing body parts of Swedish journalist found by Danish divers

Danish police said on Saturday divers had found the head and the legs of Swedish journalist Kim Wall, who died in mysterious circumstances on an inventor’s homemade submarine. Self-taught engineer and inventor Peter Madsen, 46, who is married, has been accused of Wall’s death. Kim Wall disappeared after she went on a trip with Peter Madsen in his submarine on August 10. Madsen, a Dane, was arrested and charged with Wall's death after his submarine sank and he was rescued. Charges he has since denied. Instead, Madsen, who has been in custody since August 11, claims that Wall, 30, died in an accident when she was hit by a heavy hatch cover on board his submarine. His lawyer Betina Hald Engmark said she had been informed of the development, but had not received any material or evidence to support or refute the claim. Breaking: Alex Iwobi's goal sends Nigeria to Russia 2018 World Cup

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have now qualified for the Russia 2018 World Cup courtesy of a 73-minute goal by Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi against Zambia at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo. With this victory, Nigeria becomes the first African country to qualify for the tournament taking place next year, joining other countries like Russia, Germany, Brazil, England and others who have all qualified as well.
