Charged are Zaire L. Wheeler, 19, of the 1100 block of South 15th Street in Easton and Jowell Rooks, 18, of the 800 block of North Boulevard in Alpha. Greenwich Township police at 6:23 a.m. Saturday were called to Thomas Carling Drive for a report of four males walking through a yard and possibly stealing a truck. Officers found the described truck traveling along Greenwich Street and attempted to stop the male driver, but the driver kept going, police said. A chase ensued until the truck eventually stopped along Sinclair Avenue in Pohatcong Township and the driver and three male occupants ran, police said.
