Tennis champion, Serena Williams welcomed a baby girl today, Friday 1st September, in the middle of the U.S. Open, at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach with fiancé Alexis Ohanian. “Tennis star Serena Williams gives birth to a baby girl weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces. Mom and baby doing well,” WPBF-25 news producer, Chris Shepherd announced on Twitter. The new mom was induced on Thursday night and she gave birth today.

They rubbed a passerby of some money which one of the thief ran away with the money but the other one was caught and burnt to death together with his motorcycle before the police could come to take charge of the situation. Nnamdi Kanu rejects plea by Southeast governors, insists on Biafra The  Nnamdi Kanu  led  Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)  rejected the plea of the governors of the Southeast zone of Nigeria during a meeting between the pro-Biafra group and the politicians. The closed door meeting held at the Enugu Government House where the governors attempted to convince Kanu to drop his agitation for Biafra but failed. According to reports, the meeting also failed to stop his threat against the November 18 governorship election in Anambra state. The governors had invited Kanu to discuss issues concerning the alleged violation of his bail conditions for which the Federal Government had asked an Abuja High court to issue an order to re-arrest him. Photos: Music legend,  Madonna has moved to Lisbon, Portugal, to be with her 11-year-old adopted  son, David Banda who has just joined the youth academy at Benfica football club .   According to reports, Madonna has been staying in a Lisbon hotel, while a house she bought in a nearby village called Sintra is currently undergoing renovation. Her son, David is 1 of 4 children the she adopted from Malawi back in 2006. He came through trials at the Portuguese club in the spring and is currently living at the club's youth academy at Seixal in Lisbon's suburbs. He will attend Lisbon's French lycee when schools return next month.

Donald Trump pledges $1 million of his personal money to Hurricane Harvey Relief White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced at a press conference that President Donald Trump is pledging $1 million in personal funds to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. In her words, 'he would like to join in the efforts that a lot of the people we’ve seen across this country do, and he’s pledging $1 million of personal money to the fund'. Sanders also asked the media for suggestions regarding which specific organization Trump should donate to. Already, celebrity figures including Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Ellen DeGeneres, and Kevin Hart, Chris Brown and a lot more, have contributed hurricane relief efforts to groups such as the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Montrose’s Hurricane Harvey LGBTQ Disaster Relief Fund in Houston, SPCA of Texas, and Austin Pets Alive.

DailySun reported that John and Blessing had dated for over a year, before she moved in with him. It was also revealed that John introduced Blessing, from Edo State, to his siblings, but he was advised to study her for a few months before deciding on a formal visit to Blessing’s family for dowry payment. John was said to have assured the girl of his intentions to meet with her family, but the meeting was suspended after their relationship got a bit messy.
