Famous New York surgeon Dean Lorich found dead with knife in his chest by his 11-year-old daughter

The famous Manhattan surgeon who has treated stars like U2 singer, Bono, was found dead with a knife in his chest in his Upper East side apartment on Sunday. Dr. Dean Lorich was found by his 11-year-old daughter lying on his back, face up on his bathroom floor with a knife sticking out of his chest. Authorities said around 1 p.m. the girl ran downstairs and told the doorman, who immediately called the police to the Park Avenue home. At the time of Lorich’s death, both his wife and other daughters were out playing tennis, according to police. He was home alone with the daughter who found him. At first, police thought the 54-year-old had killed himself since there were no signs of a forced entry, but he didn’t leave a note behind. The married father-of-three girls was the associate director of the Orthopedic Trauma Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery, as well as the Chief of the Orthopedic Trauma Service at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.  Police are still

Horrors of Xmas as Woman stabs her younger sister allegedly because she refused to drop out of school so her kids could get an education (photos)

A woman in Umuseti, Delta state slashed her sister's head with a sharp object allegedly because the younger sister refused to drop out of school to enable the elder sister's children get an education. According to the story shared online by Oshanor John, the sisters are from a polygamous family and from his story, it can be inferred that finances are tight in the family and only a few people can be sponsored at each time to get an education. The sister was allegedly upset that her sister wouldn't stop school so her child could go, therefore, she tried to get her sister out of the way. Luckily, the sister survived the attack though she lost a lot of blood and is now recuperating. See graphic photos below. Nigerian lady graduated from the University of Louisiana and emerges as the overall outstanding student of the year

Nigerians are steadly making us proud wherever they go and Chizzy is another one of such Nigerians giving us a good name abroad.The Petroleum Geology & Mathematics graduate recently graduated from the University of Louisiana in bright colors. For her outstanding performance, she was honored as the UL college of science outstanding graduate and the overall UL outstanding graduate for fall 2017.
