Scottish man sentenced to jail for accidentally touching a man in a bar in Dubai

Scottish man facing 3 years in jail for accidentally touching a man in a bar in Dubai

A 27 year old Scots man from Stirling, Jamie Harron is facing a three-year jail sentence in Dubai for reportedly putting his hand on a man in a bar by accident.
Harron said he was trying to avoid spilling his drink in Dubai's crowded Rock Bottom Bar when the incident happened.
After Harron and his friend sat at a table that the man who had been touched seemed aggravated and reported the incident to the police.
Police arrived at the scene "20 to 30" minutes later and arrested Mr Harron, according to his representatives.
The charges he faces in connection with the incident are said to be twofold - drinking alcohol and public indecency.
He was locked up for five days  in Al Barsha prison, before being released on bail, after having his passport confiscated. He has now been prevented from leaving the city in order to attend court.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office said it was providing consular assistance to Harron on the matter.
The campaign group Detained in Dubai said Mr Harron was arrested for public indecency after touching the man on his hip.
Mr Harron, who worked as an electrician in Afghanistan and was on a two-day stopover in the United Arab Emirates, is said to have since lost his job and spent more than £30,000 in expenses and legal fees, since the incident on 15 July.
Radha Stirling, chief executive of Detained in Dubai, said: "It is quite outrageous that he has been held in the country for so long already.
"This is another example of how vulnerable tourists are to arrest and detention in Dubai and at how drawn-out and disorganised legal proceedings are."
Ms Stirling added that following a conversation with Mr Harron, it was clear that he was under "immense pressure and stress".
She said:
"He was expecting to appear in court this Sunday, but the court moved the date without telling him or his lawyer.
"This led to a sentence of 30 days' imprisonment for failing to present himself at the hearing."
A Foreign and Commonwealth Office spokesman said: "We have been in contact with a British man following his arrest in Dubai in July. We are providing consular assistance."
Harron still remains in Dubai till date.

13yr old gang leader and his crew murdered for making threats towards an older gang (graphic video and photo)

A young boy and his fellow gang members were murdered in a gruesome manner after they recorded a video threatening an older gang in Brazil. In videos shared online, a group of young boys with their faces covered are seen making threats, one after the other. They were later caught by the older gang members who then tortured them then blew their heads out. The bodies of the young boys were then left on the street with their brains scattered all over the floor. The older group went on to share videos of them torturing the 13-year-old leader of the gang before killing him and the rest of his crew. A video of their corpse was also shared. The video of the 13-year-old gang leader being tortured is really pathetic because the boy looks so innocent and still has the face of a child. Here is a video of them making the threats. Here is one of the young gang leader being tortured. And here is a grisly video of the aftermath.

Kendall Jenner finally breaks her silence over Pepsi controversial Ad

Back in April, Kendall Jenner's debut advert for Pepsi generated serious backlash for her and the soda company. Pepsi was criticized for the 'insensitive' commercial, with people accusing them of exploiting the Black Lives Matter movement and for casting a white model in the role of a peacemaker between protesters and the police The Soda company apologized for the infamous advert and for putting Kendal, who was also called out on social media for accepting the ad, in such a controversial position. The model has spoken put for the first time in an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians which aired on Sunday night. She said; "I just feel really, really bad. I feel really bad that anyone was ever offended. I feel really bad that this was taken such a wrong way and I genuinely feel like s--t. I have no idea how I'm gonna bounce back from it." "I would never purposely hurt someone ever. I would, obviously, if I knew this ...
