Graphic photos: Dead Baby found at a refuse dump site in Port Harcourt

A dead baby was found at a refuse dump site at Oyigbo area of Port Harcourt in Rivers state today. Facebook user, Elenda Samuel, who shared the sad photos online wrote; "This is very BAD..Why do this to an innocent baby ? ?? This little baby was dumped @ oyigbo dump site this morning PH God will Judge whoever did this ? ? Amen...".

Nigerian Army Says IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, not in our custody- Nigeria Defense HQ says

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) says that the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu was not in any military custody. The Director Defence Information, (DDI) Major General John Enenche, addressed a press conference in Abuja yesterday where he denied allegations made by Kanu's brother, Emmanuel, at a press conference in Umuahia recently, where the younger Kanu called on the Military to release the corpse of the secessionist group leader if they have killed him. He alleged that since the military's "invasion" of his brother's house on September 14th, Nnamdi and his parents have gone missing. Update: 22 year old UNIBEN undergraduate killed his mum and ripped her womb open because she refused to give him money

Two days ago, LIB posted the sad story of a young man named Caleb Obasogie, who killed his mother, Josephine Igbineweka, in Benin city, Edo state. Read  here . According to new reports, Caleb, who is a 22-year final year student of the University of Benin, smashed his 55-year-old mother's head and ripped her womb opened with a broken bottle because she refused to give him money. Caleb is the last child of his mother. Caleb had asked for money from his mother who operates a beer parlor, to run to school. Her refusal to grant his request got him angry. He locked her in a room, used a broken bottle to smash her head and body repeatedly until she died. Neighbors who rushed to rescue her, met him with her intestines in his hands. Confirming the incident, the spokesman of the Edo State Police Command, DSP Moses Nkombe wh, said Caleb had been arrested by the police.
