The government of the United Kingdom has reportedly written to the Federal government inquiring the where about of one of its citizens, Nnamdi Kanu, who is the leader of the recently proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).  The Press Officer, UK high commission in Nigeria, Joe Abuku, in an interview with Punch, said that the inquiry was sent to ascertain if Kanu who has a British passport, was alive or dead. Recall that family members and lawyer of the secessionist group leader have alleged that he has been missing since his home in Umuahia, Abia state was "invaded" by the Nigerian military.  “We are seeking urgent clarification from the Nigerian authorities about the status and whereabouts of Mr. Kanu, a British-Nigerian man, who has been reported missing since September 14th,” Abuku said. A Vietnamese former banking executive, Nguyen Xuan Son was sentenced to death on Friday for fraud. The sentences were delivered at the end of a month-long trial as Vietnam's leadership wages an anti-corruption sweep, targeting ex-officials, bankers and executives accused of graft and mismanagement. Nguyen Xuan Son, former Ocean Bank general director, who later became chairman of the powerful state oil firm PetroVietnam, was sentenced to death for embezzlement, abuse of power and economic mismanagement. His co-accused and ex-Ocean Bank chairman Ha Van Tham, once one of Vietnam's richest men, was jailed for life on the same charges, as well as violating lending rules. A women's rugby team stripped down to just their club socks and boots for charity in a series of saucy snaps which will be used for a calendar. The ladies were caught on camera posing in just their club socks and boots, with jump rugby paraphernalia hiding their modesty. The pictures released for this year’s calendar are taken at the secluded grounds of the Hertfordshire club and capture the girls training. One shot shows two teammates practicing their tackling naked. Another shows the girls high-fiving under the posts. Another shows two girls on the grass and two others standing before them with practice bags protecting their modesty. The 2018 calendar by Hitchin Ladies Rugby Club will hit the shelves in November after their inaugural effort last year attracted praise from around the world. Ever since Cardi B's Bodak Yellow made it to number 1 on the Billboard 100 Chart, rapper Azealia Banks has been going off, saying she doesn't deserve it and she only got it becuase she's Latina, Azaelia went on to say Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma, or even herself deserve it better than Cardi but black women are never celebrated. A lot of people criticised her but some agreed with her. Then Azaelia, who has been known to call out Nicki a lot in the past, reached out to Nicki Minaj to apologise for always attacking her and also to let her know she, and not Cardi, deserves to be number 1.
