SSANU, NASU, NAAT declare total, indefinite strike

The three non-academic staff unions in public universities namely the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU; Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities, NASU; and the National Association of Academic Technologists, NAAT, have declared an indefinite strike starting on Monday, September 11th. This development comes two weeks after ASUU declared its indefinite strike.  Chairman of Joint Action Committee of the associations who doubles as the President of SSANU, Samson Ugwoke, announced the commencement of the strike action at a press conference in Abuja today September 6th.  “During the strike, there shall be no provision of services, no matter how skeletal. Concessions shall not be granted while all our members are to stay at home till further notice, unless as directed by JAC through their respective presidents,” he said. The 10 issues in contention are non-payment of earned allowance, lack of good governance, poor funding as against UNESCO recommendation

Read previous story  here . Yung6ix's DJ, Baddest DJTimmy has also joined in the beef. He went ballistic on Akpororo and his wife on Instagram. He made videos calling out Akpororo saying his wife and mother of his child was a sex slave and had aborted six times for PD, a dancer. He also said Akpororo begged to marry her and advised him to get a paternity test done as his child may  be someone else's. Bodak Yellow rapper, Cardi B in a post shared via her Instagram page today disclosed that she gets quite emotional and sad while creating music, especially because it reminds her of the past. The former exotic dancer and reality star has previously disclosed that she became a stripper to escape poverty and domestic violence.

A news service from the  Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea  (DPRK), took to its twitter handle @DPRK_News to issue a strict warning to Nigerians to stop making a mockery of the Supreme Leader of  North Korea ,  Kim Jong-un or pay a heavy price”. 'Impudent peoples of Nigeria are warned against mockery of Supreme Leader Kim Jong-Un, lest they pay a heavy price.' Nicki fires shots at rival Cardi B after Beyonce took photo with and crowned Cardi the "new queen of rap"

On Saturday, Cardi B performed at Jay Z and Beyonce’s Made In America concert and Bey later shared a photo of her and Cardi at the event. After Beyonce shared the photo, people began saying it means Cardi has been crowned the new "Queen" of rap. Shortly after, Nicki Minaj, who is Cardi B's arch rival, took to Instagram to share a video of herself rapping. It seems to be a diss track aimed at Cardi. "Bitch I heard your label's tryna make another me," Nicki begins the rap, insinuating Cardi B is copying her.
