Serena Williams flaunts post-baby body in mini dress as she steps for the first time since giving birth

Serena Williams' snapback is so on point. The 36-year-old Wimbledon champ, who welcomed her first child just one month ago has got her body back and she's flaunting it.  The new mom stepped out in a black and white mini dress which showed off a tiny waist, fuller bust, slender arms, and lean legs. She proudly shared the photo to Instagram on Monday. She also uploaded footage to her Snapchat Story of herself and her Reddit co-founder husband, Alexis Ohanian, stepping out and wrote: "First day out. We miss her already." Her Instagram photo was given a more weighty caption. Hero dad saved 30 people during Las Vegas massacre before he was shot in the neck (photo)

A man has been hailed as a hero for saving up to 30 people during the Las Vegas shooting massacre which left 59 dead and 527 injured on Sunday night. Jonathan Smith was in the city celebrating his brother's 43rd birthday when the gunman Stephen Paddock, 64, opened fire on concertgoers from his suite at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. The shooting sparked mass panic and the crowd watching the Route 91 country music festival opposite began to run in every direction with no idea where the danger was coming from. As hundreds of bullets whizzed down from the hotel and people dropped dead from all sides, It is believed Mr Smith, from Buena Park, California, helped dozens of strangers get out of harm's way. He continued to get people under cover until he himself was hit by a bullet. Mr Smith, a father of three young children with his partner Crystal Jones, still has the bullet lodged in his clavicle and it may have to stay there for the rest of his life. His partner

Another Mass shooting in a club in Athens, Georgia over the weekend leaves three injured

There was another mass shooting in the United States over the weekend but it was overshadowed by the Las Vegas shooting which had more casualties. Three men were injured on Sunday morning inside Club Venom in Athens, Georgia when one of the patrons opened fire with a handgun.   One of the men was critically injured after being shot once in the chest. He’s in critical condition and has been placed on a ventilator at a local hospital. Another man’s shoulder was grazed by a bullet during the shooting, but his injuries were said to not be life-threatening. A third man was injured when he fell amid the mayhem caused by the shooting and suffered cuts to his legs, according to police. In a video showing the moment before the commotion started, club goers were seen having fun, singing, and dancing. Plague – Madagascar Disease outbreak

From 23 August to 30 September 2017, a total of 73 suspected, probable, and confirmed cases of pneumonic plague, including 17 deaths have been reported in Madagascar. The diagnosis was confirmed by the Institut Pasteur de Madagascar by polymerase chain reaction test or using rapid diagnostic test. The outbreak started following the death of a 31-year-old male from Ankazobe District in the Central Highlands (Hauts-Plateaux), a plague-endemic area. Since then, the Ministry of Public Health of Madagascar enhanced field investigations, contact tracing, surveillance, and monitoring all close contacts. As of 30 September, 10 cities have reported pneumonic plague cases and the three most affected districts include: the capital city and suburbs of Antananarivo (27 cases, 7 deaths), Toamasina (18 cases, 5 deaths), and Faratshio (13 cases, 1 death).
