Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike took the first reading. He attended the Carol with his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike. Great artists and choirs rendered soul lifting songs. Torukori Nasko Egei, a former Senior Special Assistant to the Bayelsa Governor on Youth Development, is dead. According to reports, the married man and a father of two was found dead on Friday, December 21, 2017 in a room at Aridolf Resort Wellness And Spa, Yenagoa, Bayelsa. Though the circumstances surrounding his death is yet to be ascertained, some family sources claim he was killed by his competitors while others believed he died in his sleep. It’s a sad moment for the family and friends of former Senior Special Assistant to the Bayelsa Governor on Youth Development, Torukori Nasko Egei, who died tragically on Friday in Bayelsa state. According to his friends, the deceased was warming up to contest in the Bayelsa state assembly as his popularity continued to grow before his demise. Last night, four people were killed and eight others injured in an attack by a single gunman in Kaduna State. The killings occurred around the Nindem village axis in Godogodo district, Jemaa Local Government Area of the state.   Spokesman for Operation Safe Haven, Colonel IK Ekpeyong, who confirmed the incident in a statement, said the gunman invaded Godogodo village as the residents were holding a carol at the community square at about 9 pm, shooting sporadically, and in the process, killed four persons and injured eight others, Channels Television reports.   He disclosed that the bodies have been deposited in a mortuary while the eight wounded persons were taken to the Kafanchan general hospital for treatment. He also added that some people suspected to be masterminds of the attack have been arrested for further interrogation, while more troops have been deployed to the area to avert a fresh attack or reprisal.

Princess Michael of Kent, who is married to the Queen's cousin,Prince Michael, wore a racist brooch to the queen's annual Christmas lunch where Megan Markle was to be officially introduced to the royal family. She was spotted wearing the Blackamoore brooch on her coat as she was driven into Buckingham Palace on Wednesday. Back in 2004, this same princess told Black diners in a New York restaurant to 'go back to the colonies.' After the photos hit online, the Princess was shred to pieces, forcing her to issue a public apology. A spokesperson told The Sun Online that the brooch was in fact a gift that Princess Michael had worn many times before. The spokesperson said: "Princess Michael is very sorry and distressed that it has caused offence."
