A dead baby was found at a refuse dump site at Oyigbo area of Port Harcourt in Rivers state today. Facebook user, Elenda Samuel, who shared the sad photos online wrote; "This is very BAD..Why do this to an innocent baby ? ?? This little baby was dumped @ oyigbo dump site this morning PH God will Judge whoever did this ? ? Amen...".

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) says that the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu was not in any military custody. The Director Defence Information, (DDI) Major General John Enenche, addressed a press conference in Abuja yesterday where he denied allegations made by Kanu's brother, Emmanuel, at a press conference in Umuahia recently, where the younger Kanu called on the Military to release the corpse of the secessionist group leader if they have killed him. He alleged that since the military's "invasion" of his brother's house on September 14th, Nnamdi and his parents have gone missing. Two days ago, LIB posted the sad story of a young man named Caleb Obasogie, who killed his mother, Josephine Igbineweka, in Benin city, Edo state. Read  here . According to new reports, Caleb, who is a 22-year final year student of the University of Benin, smashed his 55-year-old mother's head and ripped her womb opened with a broken bottle because she refused to give him money. Caleb is the last child of his mother. Caleb had asked for money from his mother who operates a beer parlor, to run to school. Her refusal to grant his request got him angry. He locked her in a room, used a broken bottle to smash her head and body repeatedly until she died. Neighbors who rushed to rescue her, met him with her intestines in his hands. Confirming the incident, the spokesman of the Edo State Police Command, DSP Moses Nkombe wh, said Caleb had been arrested by the police.

Ever since Cardi B's Bodak Yellow made it to number 1 on the Billboard 100 Chart, rapper Azealia Banks has been going off, saying she doesn't deserve it and she only got it becuase she's Latina, Azaelia went on to say Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma, or even herself deserve it better than Cardi but black women are never celebrated. The surrogate who is carrying the unborn third child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West has been revealed.  RadarOnline.com got the exclusive first photos of the 27-year-old surrogate who is an African-American. She is expected to give birth to a baby in January 2018. According to the reports, this isn't her first surrogacy. She did it in 2014 and everything went great for her with the pregnancy. Kim and Kanye who already have two children, daughter North West, 4, and son Saint West, 1 are reportedly paying their surrogate  $75,000 to carry Kim’s baby including medical expenses and a monthly 'discomfort; allowance of $4,500. She will also earn $2,000 more if she gives birth by cesarean and $5,000 if she miraculously gives birth to twins. The agency that brokered the deal was paid a deposit of $69,000.

Ifeanyi Ejik , lawyer to  Nnamdi Kanu,  leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has sued the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General  Tukur Buratai  over Nnamdi Kanu’s alleged disappearance since a reported September 14, 2017 raid by the Army on his residence. In an originating motion filed before the Federal High Court in Abuja, Ejik wants the court to give an order mandating General Buratai to produce Kanu in court on his next adjournment date for the criminal trial he is facing in October. The motion has the IPOB leader as the only applicant and the Chief of Army Staff as the only respondent.   According to the application, the grounds for the relief include that the Kanu was, before he went missing, known to have lawfully exercised his constitutional right of freedom of association, peaceful assembly and self-determination.   The application also said Kanu was still enjoying the bail granted him by the court, when...

Russia  has just said it will ban  Facebook  in 2018 if the social network fails to comply with local data storage laws. Alexander Zharov,  head of communications regulator Roskomnadzor, was quoted by official state media outlets saying " the law is obligatory for all. In all cases we will make sure the law is complied with, or the company will stop working in the Russian Federation. There are no exceptions here." Russia's law on personal data storage came into effect in September 2015 and It requires companies that collect the personal data of citizens to store the information on Russian soil. Zharov said his agency has not been in contact with Facebook but added that the company needs to comply with the law soon. "In 2018, we will think about it, and maybe we will check," Zharov told state media that Roskomnadzor had received a letter from Twitter saying it would comply with the data storage law starting in 2018.
